Automated Flight Webinar Q&A Responses

SALES

Can I purchase your drones outside of the United States or Canada?

We intend to rollout a plan to sell outside of these countries later in 2024, but right now sales of Anzu Robotics are limited to the US and Canada. We will send out notice to all newsletter subscribers and make mention on social media once we open new regions.

How fast can you ship orders?

We have stock with many of our reseller partners around the US and Canada. We also have plenty of stock at our warehouse to supply orders immediately. This is one significant benefit of working with us as a drone supplier.

Does Anzu Robotics offer a military/veteran discount?

We do not determine the price to end-users since we sell solely through our reseller network. If you would like to get a quote, reach out to sales@anzurobotics.com

and let us know where you’re located if you don’t already have a reseller of choice.

Was the autonomous flight webinar recorded?

Yes! You can review the webinar here: https://youtu.be/qFk0GilcScs?si=LZVbHHIed1ox1kK0

Are spare parts available for the Anzu Robotics drones?

We do all service of Anzu Robotics drones in the United States. All Raptor-series drones are covered by a one-year warranty and one year of Anzu Care coverage. Contact our support team if you have any repair needs at repairs@anzurobotics.com. We are going to be stocked with additional accessories in early September 2024.

How does Anzu Care work and what are the deductibles?

Every Anzu Robotics drone includes one year of Anzu Care. This coverage gives peace of mind when it comes to accidental damage that might occur. Your year begins at time of purchase and can be used by reaching out to our support team through the Anzu Robotics website or emailing us at support@anzurobotics.com. If a deductible is justified it is $225 for Raptor and $350 for Raptor T for a complete replacement. You can read more about the terms of this program here: https://www.anzurobotics.com/anzu-care/

What is experience of Anzu Robotics drones in high interference environments?

Our connectivity is amongst the best in the drone industry. We tout a 9-mile range of control and significant reliability in complicated RF environments.

Do you have any live demonstrations scheduled?

Yes. We will be at Commercial UAV Expo (Las Vegas), Elevate UAV (Miami), Drone Deploy Horizons (Scottsdale), and IDES (Texas). We are also open to scheduling events with potential customers. Reach out to sales@anzurobotics.com if interested and we may leverage our reseller network as well.

Will Anzu Robotics be at Geo Week in 2025?

We have not made our plans for 2025 as it pertains to events, but we value Geo Week and many other shows around the world related to drones and robotics.

How does Anzu Robotics fit into the currently proposed legislation in the United States regarding banning of drone technology?

Anzu Robotics is not an affiliate or subsidiary of DJI or any scrutinized entity. We have a licensing agreement for their technology but are not funded nor controlled by DJI or anyone else. We are wholly American owned and operated and we feel that the political environment is still trying to sort everything out.

Everything that we do is above board, and we anticipate we will be able to dispel any concerns about our processes or evolve to satisfy any change in requirements.

MISSION PLANNING AND DATA CAPTURE

Is a subscription to Aloft required to do mission planning for aerial photogrammetry?

No. The Air Control app is native to our drones out of the box and no subscription or registration to Aloft is necessary to use the drone. There are additional features like live streaming, fleet management, etc. that are part of Aloft’s enterprise offerings that can be used if you choose through a subscription. For more information you can reach out to anzusupport@aloft.ai.

Do you have a method for web-based mission planning?

The intention is to add this capability to the Aloft Air Control as an enterprise feature. The release date has yet to be determined.

Does the mission planning in Air Control support facades, panos, terrain following, and orbits?

These mission types are not part of the current release on Air Control. We intend to continue to add features so you can do more within the native app of Anzu Robotics drones, but you may also investigate third parties like the DroneDeploy app that has been integrated with the Raptor-series drones to accomplish some of these mission types.

Does Aloft work with Autel Robotics and other manufacturers’ drones?

Aloft itself is drone agnostic and integrates with a variety of manufacturers including DJI, Autel, Skydio, and many others. Please contact anzusupport@aloft.ai for more details.

Can we bring external missions into the Raptor including KML/KMZ files?

This is a feature intended for the near future but is not yet able to do this.

Can Anzu Robotics drones use NTRIP when equipped with the RTK module?

According to our friends on the webinar, yes.

Do Emlid products work with the Anzu Robotics RTK module?

According to our friends on the webinar, yes.

Does the Raptor T have a mechanical shutter or just the Raptor?

Yes, there is a mechanical shutter on the Raptor T as well.

Do Anzu Robotics drones work with AirData, Dronelink, Esri, UGCS, Skyebrowse, or other third-party apps?

On August 21, 2024 the first third-party integration was released on the Anzu Robotics platforms by DroneDeploy. This includes their free and enterprise applications. We intend to have other partners develop on our mobile SDK and have their apps downloadable on the Anzu Robotics RC.

Will you allow for RTMP streaming from the Anzu Robotics drones?

Aloft is working to introduce RTMP streaming in response to requests by current and potential customers. The understanding is that RTMP streaming has considerably higher latency than Aloft’s current methods which is sub-second latency. However, this is part of the expansion of capabilities intended by Air Control on the Anzu Robotics products.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Will Anzu Robotics create a multispectral version?

Our future roadmap is constantly being reevaluated due to the growing need of non-Chinese drones and the legislative climate. We anticipate releasing several new products but can’t guarantee what or when at this point.

When we started this journey, we figured that multispectral users were less impeded by country-of-origin bans as it pertained to the state regulations that had been passed. Things are changing regularly, and we want to place our resources where we can make the biggest impact to drone users challenged by these geopolitical efforts.

Any plans to develop any of the consumer line of products?

See above, but we certainly see ourselves as very capable of making drones of all sorts when justified.

Are any Anzu Robotics drones on the Blue or Green UAS lists?

We are not. We are working toward satisfying more regulatory hurdles for drone users everywhere, but Blue and Green are not options we have approached whatsoever at the time of this webinar (August 2024).

Do you have compatibility with parachute systems to allow for flights over people?

AVSS has confirmed fitting their parachutes onto our drones, and I am aware of ParaZero wanting to accomplish the same. I don’t know the details of these integrations, but you can consider it is a work in progress.

Are there any TAK/ATAK integrations with the Anzu Robotics drones?

I have heard of successful ATAK integrations from third parties but can’t validate them as I have not used them or know about the specifics of the integration work. Likely, there will be more required to get these to be entirely suited to the Anzu Robotics systems, software, and security efforts.
